Hi MM. Good to see you posting again but sorry for the reason of the post.

I don't get that. But, I would have your dr check it out. There could be various reasons for it but since you were swimming at the shore and pool and now have a rash on your neck, it really needs to be looked at. The 2 may not be related at all. I do know of a few instances where people have gotten bacterial infections from swimming in poorly treated pools and they were pretty miserable for a bit with the rashes. The same can happen when swimming in lakes, ponds, and the ocean. So, please get it checked out.

There could be lots of different causes of scalp sores and your PCP may be able to dx it and/or send you to a specialist to have them look at them. Start documenting when it happens and where as well as how you feel during the outbreaks. Take pictures if you need to so that you have them to show the dr. just in case you don't have any on the day you see your dr. (I just did that with some joint/tendon stuff I have going on just in case they aren't acting up when I see the rheummy next week).
