It does worry me a bit, but reading Laura Moncur's summary of the article, I realize that she is just a reactionary, picking out the bits of the story that were inflamatory. The full story is a better read.

Laura's inflamatory story is like telling a story of owning a dog, and only writing about having to pick up the poop.

I used to not even consider GB surgery, but I like this idea of a mini done lapriscopically.
