You may recall, that I have been on methadone for more than 20 years, and have tried others, and asked about them too. My doctor, a Genius at RSD, (expartner w/ Dr S) His name is Knobler.. Robert Knobler. D, ddd DAH!

He is truly great.
He keeps me alive! Literally! He makes me walk the narrow path! I admire him and his family!

Anyway, NOTHING has ever helped me, as the cocktail he has me on.
Methadone, for the RSD, (dosage must be titrated to).
Cymbalta, Really helps nerve pain.
Diazepam, for muscle spasm, and to help prevent migraine.
the Generic for Zanaflex, a muscle relaxer, to help sleep. (I also use a CPap machine w/ O2).
Then, the Magraine medication.

So, I cannot speak highly enough for methadone. It stops that BURN. and restores my ability to move. (Nothing is a miracle, btw).

It's only side effect, there is NO 'Buzz', thanks to the lord, but it can cause constipation, for which a little bit of miralax, OTC now, works great!

I hope this helps, oh Lord, I hate to see our children in pain! I raised two of my own, and, even other children came to me if they hurt. (Not for meds of course) , but I could give them an ice pack, or a heat pack, like that.... let them relax, and know they were cared for. I spent over a decade being 'Mr Mom'.....
