Found this website after googling chia seed poisonous effects. Wondering what's up with these Chis Seeds. Anyone else experience this? If so the public needs to know before a serious hospitalization or death occurs.

Please be mindful when using this product. I bought the organic version from Wholefoods and have tried it three times. Today was my last day. The first two times (last two weeks), I became very ill, experienced severe explosive diarrhea for 2 days and muscle abdominal cramps that resemble labor pains and food poisoning. I thought that maybe I was using too much of the product for I was sprinkling it on cereal (not measuring it).

Today, I added a smaller amount, 1 tsp. to my yoghurt and experienced severe vomiting and gagging within 3 hours of consumption, so severe that I experienced incontinence. I was too ill to drive from work. I FELT LIKE I HAD BEEN POISONED.

I am a healthy, 55 year old. Good blood pressure, etc. and I do not take meds every day. I take an occasional NSAID for arthritis.
