I have experienced focal head aches like you describe. As you say, they go away. Mine did too. I never did anything about them either.

The important thing to consider is a TIA, Transient Ischemic Attack. There is a national stroke line you can try calling. I hear it advertised on the radio frequently. Try www.stroke.org. Maybe it will have some information that will help.
