jail vs dealing with virginia medicaid eligibility workers.
After the $250 spent yesterday to treat my "severe" UTI, I was given an option while at the pharmacy. Spend an additional $215 for my anti-depressants, $350 for one month of pain meds for my broken spine, $500 a month if I want neurontin, another $200 for voltaren, and the list continues.
I am now in month two of waiting for an answer regarding the medicaid fiasco. My neuro is constantly hounding me to be back on Ty which we all know is an $8000 a month drug plus the hospital bill, plus the follow up to pcp and necessary antibiotics, which we discovered today carries a $250 price tag.
OR....
I could spend $400 on the gun I want, shoot someone, go to jail, have all of my medical expenses covered, plead insanity... which I can prove, Spend maybe 5 yrs or so in a mental institute, be released....
Then sue the state for knowing and having proof that I have a mental disorder and purposefully witholding my meds and making me crazy enough to shoot someone.
OK, no I don't plan on shooting anyone but, it does make more sense than dealing with these idiots.
I now have the caseworker, her manager, and HER manager involved in this. I have decided to be a thorn in the side of all of them until they get off their butts and fix this. My paperwork has been sittin on this woman's desk since july 3rd. Maybe I am crazy for thinking this is an actual emergency situation.
