BrokenFriend in VA must be feeling full effects now too, hope if he lost his power it is back on soon. Thinking of you BF and all others affected.
We are to get between the 4" of our west and 8" of the east. On top of saturated ground. The springs are running out of the mountain like little fountains from all the summer rain of August. There are huge 40+ tall trees on the mountain behind us. With the elevated winds, I worry for the shingles, windows and power.
Those closer to the shore will certainly have it very bad. We are east of Interstate 81, I hear the weather channel saying close to the line of better and worse edge. Hope it is the better edge. I heard one reporter say it is like 100 mile wide "0" tornado working its way up.
Be safe friends and their family.
Back to watch more on the weather channel. Keeping a look out for BF and then Jacquie. any one else check in too...

Hey Di So far,so good. I am to the far west of the Interstate 95 area. I haven't had much of a problem yet. Its just windy, and rainy right now.
Earlier the power went out three times, and came right back on.
I think lower Manhatton is going to have a problem. BF
