It took me a year to get my feet back from hypothyroidism.

Not 100% but around 90%. My hands were also severely affected and still flare up with over-use now and then, years later.

I really don't think there is an optimistic prognosis, since the tissue deposited during the hypo period, may not be reabsorbed or changed 100%. This tissue compresses nerves at the wrist and ankles.
