Thankfully the rain stopped just in time B2U. We live on the Williams River just a mile upstream from where the covered bridge washed out and as the water got higher we decided to head for higher ground.
It turned out that all roads out were washed out so we were stuck. When we got back to the house I found that the river was down a foot, so that was good news. By dark it was down 8 feet which made it so I could sleep.
Lots of destruction. If I can get to Grafton this morning I got to go through one of the historic houses that The Saxtons River was flowing through. There are video's on youtube of some of the flooding in Grafton. It got hammered.
You've got relatives in Jamaica don't you B2U? They got hit hard too.
Thanks all for checking on me.
