I have been experiencing vertigo and headaches for a while now, 3 1/2 years. They found the aneurysm on the 4th MRI while trying to find the reason for the vertigo. They are saying that it has nothing to do with why I am dizzy.
They want to do coil embolization because the aneurysm is in a place that is too difficult to get to otherwise - front lower part of my brain, right carotid artery. But I have an allergy to nickel, so I am wondering if there will be complications from all of the metal.
anyway, I'm glad I found this group and wanted to introduce myself. Been reading a lot of the posts. I am definately not alone.[/QUOTE]
I'm glad you found us too. Your story is remarkably like mine: I had just the headache, but a doozy. In searching for the headache's cause, they found the aneurysm--& it doesn't cause the headaches. I'm not a candidate for coiling, & i hear your concern about your nickel allergy. This might be worth checking out, even though youre scheduled soon:

I'm not trying to send you off in a different trefatment plan direction--just thought you'd be interested in options.
