OK so i couldn't edit my sloppy post. Anyway what i'm saying is i've been seeing a neurosurgeon and an expert on chronic fatigue syndrome for my POTS, and the NS found Cervical instability, Basilar invagination, and a retroflexed odontoid. My Chronic fatigue doc says that very well might be causing the POTS because of the pressure on my brainstem causing all sorts of autonomic disfunction. So the NS wants to do a suboccipital decompression and cervical fusion which i am getting done in two weeks. I have already had two surgeries from him for a tethered spinal cord and he put an LP shunt in for psuedotumor cerebri.
All i want to freaking know what the hell is causing me not to remember any particualar events or any experiances for my past. Feel any emotion and react to things, and slow thinking and "forced" thinking to the point where i cant have conversations with people and i feel reatarded for six years!!! It is NOT mental and ive been trying to distinguish that for six years. I know some kind of injury happened in head/neck spinal area and i had that head injury right in the back of my head as a kid....Can that pressure and basilar invagination really be causing the THINKING problem too? Or is it metabolic? or what...I have ehlors-danlos disease..but it's not the typical brain fog
THANK YOU!
