Default Infection after ozone injection.

Aloha Bryanna and everyone. I would really appreciate your feedback on my current situation. I am usually very healthy. I eat extremely well, get plenty of sunshine, and rarely get sick.

15 months ago I had a root canal on a bottom back molar, the one in front of the wisdom teeth(I don't have my wisdom teeth). The root canal tooth never felt right after the root canal treatment. It didn't hurt, but it just felt vaguely odd under it...like the body didn't like what had happened. I thought it might be because the crown was not adjusted quite right and so maybe too much impact, and I also suspected it might be because of the bacteria living in the root canal tubules.

I went back to the endo 14 months later, and he took a x-ray, and noticed a dark area...he suspected some infection. I went to a new holistic dentist also and he adjusted the crown a bit and did a panoramic x-ray and saw the same thing....a subtle dark area under the root canal tooth. He said an ozone injection into the jaw may help. I've always been a fan of oxygen therapy so I decided 'why not'. He drilled one of those tiny needles in through my jaw bone near the root of the root canal tooth.

Seconds after the ozone injection there is a burning sensation that shoots through your jaw into places I have never felt burning. I was sore after the injection and within 24hrs my sinuses started acting up. I am 35 and haven't had a sinus problem since grade school. As the next few days went on, the sinus draining became more intense, and my jaw also started to hurt and burn. The burning started to be similar to the burning I felt when the ozone was injected to begin with. My teeth started getting a bit more sensitive too and now I had acute pain under the root canal tooth. I have never had jaw pain in my life.

It appears as if the ozone injection has stimulated a massive infection...it has now been 6 weeks and my sinuses are still doing crazy things...massive mucus and a feeling like intense toxins are draining into the back of my throat.

I decided to have the root canal tooth retreated a week ago with the hope that it might just calm things down, and it only has made things worse...the pain in my jaw is getting worse and now behind the tooth on the top of my jaw it hurts to touch it....it wasn't like that before the re-treatment.

The ozone injection unleashed hell it appears. Have you ever heard of such a thing???

Anyway...thanks for listening. I feel I should probably go to a good oral surgeon and have the tooth taken out and have the extraction site cleaned well. Your insights will be most welcome as this is now keeping me from enjoying my life and my family.

Aloha, Mark
