Absolutely! I am a very social, outgoing person with a lot of friends who would normally go out everynight that i have off and loved big social scenes before my accident. But even though i am "getting better" and some of my symptoms have lessened (although my headaches are awful now that i am back to work) i find that i have tons of social anxiety. The mall, bars, baseball games, even when the morning shift comes in and there are tons of doctors and other nurses filing in the door gives me major anxiety. I have never felt this before and it has totally shocked me that i would change so drastically or experience anxiety and depression. I am taking celexa for those experiences....which normally i would never consider taking an anti-depressant, but pretty much have no choice after this head injury.
