I personally know quite a few people who had mild to severe TBIs. With severe TBIs 2 of them died, one has major disabilities like short term memory loss, cannot use one side of body efficiently and some remarkably recovered. My aunt with Concussion happened after me back to normal in 6 months.

I still talk to them and they don't have any of the complaints we talk about. They all surprised with my persistent symptoms. I personally don't know anyone (except in the forums) with chronic symptoms like I have with mild TBI.

I stopped comparing since that is making me depressed and anxious which sure doesn't help.

I blame it on my bad luck.

But I am still trying different things to help my recovery.
