your question reminds me of one i asked my dad a long time ago.
and that was "when do i need new tires on my car?"
the answer; "when you need them".
sounds like you need it. i don't think it's a matter of percentages.
it's worth it to save your energy for other things and for safety.
if you can pay for it i'd do it.
