Dave...
Try to remember that depression runs rampant. This means that people who seem "ok" on the outside, might also be depressed. They might have many, many "issues," that you are not aware of. They are faking it...but not totally doing the best job...because they are letting those around them down. It likely has nothing to do with you. True...it is hard not to take it personally, but best that you do NOT.

IN the mean time, do what you can to boost your mood. Research ways to break out of depression. Find healthy techniques to boost your self esteem and cope with life's difficulties. Build yourself up, so that what others do, or fail to do, doesn't bother you excessively.


Would you consider going to a therapist? Are you doing the little (yet important) things like eating right, exercising and taking your vitamins?

What hobbies do you have? Try to explore them to get out and meet new people.
