Thanks Anne- you're right- it can be SO much worse. I'm so thankful that the things I'm dealing with are all that's wrong with me. I can't imagine what people go through with that kind of diagnosis. This has really hit me hard- he was such a nice guy when we were growing up. So many people in my class have died- one of my oldest best friends died a couple of years ago from lung cancer and had never smoked. And, it seems like the older I/we get, these deaths seem to be even harder to deal with- like it makes us think about our own mortality.
