I just joined today, so other people know much more than I do. I was just diagnosed with a basilar aneurysm. This was diagnosed after I had an MRA for another symptom. I do know that MRIs will not diagnose unless you have the MRA with it (MRA's image the blood vessels/arteries).
What you are describing sounds like a seizure. Has your husband had an EEG? My daughter has epilepsy that took several years to diagnose (and 3 neurologists). We finally went to the head of neuroendocrinology at Beth Israel, who finally diagnosed it through an EEG.
I would urge your husband to see a neurologist again for new tests.
