Hi - I would like to introduce myself
I have just posted a long post in the Peripheral Neuropathy forum, but wanted to introduce myself here as well.
My name is Walt and I am have some significant and life changing struggles with what has recently been diagnosed as Small Fiber Polyneuropathy. This all came on very suddenly early this year. I am 53 years old and prior to this issue was very active and involved in my work and my church. Unfortunately, this disease has changed all of that.
The cause of my disease is "idiopathic". I hate that word. I would like to understand what is causing my problems, though I know I may never.
I have read many of the posts on this forum. There is a lot of very useful information. I have already acted upon some of the info regarding supplements to take that might help my nerves to recover.
It is nice to be able to communicate with folks that understand and can relate to what I am going through and I hope to develop many friends within this community.
Thank you for letting me be a part of it.
Sincerely,
Walt
