Okay.
Maybe I'm dumb but I thought there was a particular BUTTON on my keyboard that I could press that puts the computer in sleep or hybernation mode.
Still got lots to learn.
I am fooling around with the previous computer. It's now in my bedroom hooked up to a monitor. I cleaned out all the files.
I would like to make it wi fi compatible, just in case I get a router in the living room
I followed directions to find out if a computer is wi fi capable. Mine is not.
I know I have to get a usb thing to plug into the tower to pick up a wifi signal (if I ever get a router).
But it appears that I have to have some software on my computer too.
All I see is Local Area Network so I know that presently my old computer is not capable of getting any wi fi signal.
What I'm trying to find out is what do I need to do to enable my OLD computer to be WI FI ready when and if the time comes.
So much to learn.
