We are still waiting to get a second opinion, but my casual conversations with friends who are doctors and other medical professionals sound bleak. Pick's disease is a recurring theme in their opinions, and I admit that scares me to death. We are both in our 30's, and I have been in poor health for over two years due to an accident that caused vascular trauma. I am terrified that I will be physically unable to care for him if his condition continues to deteriorate.
