I am very happy because I was given an opportunity to fix a problem that I have been plagued with for 2 years. The mystery was solved. The evidence was there all along. I just needed the right surgeon to find it. I am so thankful to all that have supported me. I am thankful to all of the physicians that have contributed bits of information and clues to help find the problem. I am thankful to have learned about CRPS so I can be aware of this condition, work on prevention of a flare up and to feel connected to others inflicted with this condition. I have empathy and understanding and will carry that into my career and my life. I hope to find that I really never had CRPS, but if I do and will have a difficult time after surgery, I am thankful for all of you to help me through and I too will support you.

I will keep you in my prayers and wish you all the success. I have also had surgeries while having RSD, I was in a situation that if I didn't have them I could possibly lose the functioning in my arm. My RSD came on quickly after the injury and 1st surgery, I had 6 more after that over the course of 3 years. Thank god I found, almost my accident, a smart, smart PM Dr. who would happen to be collegues and friends with a world renowned upper extremety surgeron, who both worked at the same hospital, which happened to me the best orthopedic hospital in the country, as quoted my US News and World Report many years in a row including 2011, sombody was on my side. My doctors did a incredible job, I did end up having 3 -5 day inpatient ketamine procedures w/boosters to get the RSD under control, which was not fun. Today I'am working part time as an independent business consultant I have 2 clients. It's not the career I had before but it works for me and I also was able to optain Social Security Disability.
