Default cruel, however the concerns valid

welcome,

this is such a broad subject, i share your pain, (acdf 5/6-6/7 1st surgery failed to fuse after 1 year 3-11-10 plate screws donor bone on meds then after a 2 day stay maintained meds slowly decreasing the strength but still am on meds. 2nd surgery 4-15-11 more donor bone and a cage in addition with plate, entered via back of neck). there are few other findings that cause me to endure pain but none the least it is valid and unbearable on certain days. although i see several doctors for different reasons. no one i would hope, goal is to be an addict when in physical pain. i say this being a recovering alcoholic for 19 years, a day at a time. i keep nothing from my doctors. on one hand i could understand the concern, addiction comes in many forms but certainly does NOT discriminate. never abuse your meds .take as prescribed and question your doctor what are the alternatives he has to offer. i believe no one should suffer physical pain. don't give up, don't give in, what works for one may not for others. i hope you find comfort and the support you need here at "NeuroTalk" it has helped me see many suffer with pain including depression as it has happened to myself. a wild free horse now tamed. my 4 children still see me as SUPERMOM.
i wish you comfort and a positive healing process with what ever it takes to give you relief. do you see a pain specialist?
i am mostly on spinal disorder. but i must say many subtitles such as Peripheral Neuropathy that is the newest finding lol i'm sick of it all, but it is what it is, reality. my sister 2 years younger than myself just had lower back surgery, microscopic she is in so much pain she also has a plate in her left hand. idiopathic, so they told her, i'm convinced some genetic passing down my family line has effected her and myself. i am unable to go back to work and feel life is coming to an end as i know it. i have no choice but to move forward and stop looking back. stay strong and always have an advocate with you.
sending you a supermom
