I am new here as well. I had the same dry socket problem as you did back when I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. It was so long ago, but I do remember having to return to the oral surgeon every other day to be repacked. I remember calling and asking should it hurt worse a week later then when I actual had them removed. He had me come right in. I have had my share of those type of doctors as you have experienced. I just wanted to let you know that my husband just recently had all his top teeth removed for dentures and he had a dry socket problem. They not only packed it, but also put him on an antibiotic. He had no problem after that. Best of luck to you.
