2. Sometimes the rotation is 360deg
Sometimes only rotates 30deg
Sometimes rotation stops. room is fine.

My friend would like to know if a Vertigo specialist could give her some information from these observations.

It seems to me that if the vertigo stops at times, the nerve cells cannot be damaged, and if rotation is always in the same direction, probably only one ear is affected.

Any suggestion as to how to find a specialist who knows about vertigo symptoms?

Do a google search for Epley's Maneuver. It will relieve the vertigo, at least temporarily-- if there is another unerlying cause, the vertigo may return, but the Epley WILL at least temporarily relieve the symptom.
