Hi ~ I can't answer if you could still have a leak a year later, but I suppose it's possible !!
I think I would PRESSURE my doctor into doing an MRI with and without contrast material of the lumbar spine. You would at least PROBABLY find out what you're dealing with. Any time anything is injected into the spinal column, there are risks involved. She should order this on her own, without you asking -- but ask if you need to!!!
