Oh, Lara, I think those are Rex cats. They are supposed to be less allergenic.
I agree, cats look a bit freaky without their fur.
We had a cat about 35 yrs ago who had to have her tummy shaved for a big operation (long story). We never realized that when she sat up her belly completely covered her back feet!
While she was ill a while after, we couldn't help laughing at her a bit. Cats look very different under all that fur!
