I have a signed directive in case I am unable to speak or respond. Specifically I give instructions for no extreme measures, and to NOT insert a feeding tube without my express permission. If I am unresponsive, I do not want to be kept alive via a feeding tube. (and I've asked for whatever medications will keep me comfortable at end of life.)
