The SSA sends VERY mixed messages. It's never made sense to me that work that can keep you from from being approved is then allowed afterwards. And if they're going to turn around and use it as a reason to end benefits, why is it allowed at all?

If he wins his appeal, and is still able to work part-time, he might want to consider the Ticket to Work program. It does offer some protections and extra benefits.
