Tongue

It is unclear how this new bill is going to affect things.

It's intent was to prevent addition of drugs and dangerous substances (for example steroids or erectile enhancing substances) to "supplements" and sold to the public. It is also supposed to clarify the contents of the labels which some manufacturers hide as "proprietary formulas".

But like most things governmental, it is being greeted with huge disdain and fear and worry.

Too soon to know what is going to happen with it. It also involves food contamination and greater oversight for that.

I believe the time to write and respond is not over yet. It should say in the email. Many in the supplement industry resent having to prove that their products are safe and untainted. It will problem turn into a big mess all around.
