Are you sure they are recluse? We have lots of spiders too, and never have seen a recluse. The wolf spiders do come in and hang with people. I had one jump on the couch near me one year!
A recluse has a special shape on its back. Usually they live under stuff..under carpets, in garages, and don't come out when there is noise, light and activity.
I had a terrible spider bite years ago on vacation. It turned black and swelled up and hurt, etc. The doctor there did conservative treatment, with Zithromax, atarax and steroids and it cleared up, but took a long time for the pain to go away (on my ankle bone).
I got it on a night sitting on the dock watching shooting stars!
It wasn't a recluse, but the venom was pretty bad as it was.
Just be very careful with spiders. There is a battery operated suction device that will suck them up!
