About 4 years ago I put John on this from Life Extension for Mitochondrial support. His strength was so poor he couldn't the sweep the front walk without stopping to take a break at least four or five times. So I figured his muscles were not converting the energy. Well, when spring came around and we were back out doing yard work, he was able to sweep the entire walk and driveway without stopping.
I new it had ALC but the main one they were pushing for this was the carnosine. He takes two of these a day which is about 1200 mg of ALC. It's pretty pricey but well worth it for him. I've taken it but must do it in the morning because I have found it can keep me awake if I take it too late.
