Tramadol works on serotonin receptors indirectly. Not a strong effect but enough to help Fibro people, for example, or those with PN. Wellbutrin typically works on dopamine. It is the only main antidepressant with this action, too.
You might want to try Kefir... to stabilize the GI lumen. That may help alot. Kefir has 12 cultures. I've been using it for 3 weeks now with tremendous success! Available at Kroger's in the health food aisle and most quality health food type stores.
Lifeway is the main brand out there with many choices.
You might be able to avoid the antibiotics all together!
