I'm only hesitant because on many of the sites that offer this product it indicates "only works with analog phone service, not with digital"

I keep forgetting to phone the phone company and asking "Do I have analog or digital?"

I don't have cablevision. I have Directv and I have a dsl line.

And on the back of my phone it says

THIS DEVICE COMPLIES WITH PART 15 OF THE FCC RULES.

So in case I forget to phone up Verizon tomorrow, do I have analog or digital?

My phone is a regular (with caller ID), touch tone, with redial and flash.

Thanks much.

As soon as someone tells me I have analog, I'm buying this flashing thing for Alan.

He NEVER hears the phone because of the headphones. If he didn't wear these to listen to his music and tv, my whole neighborhood would wake up.

He's been to the ear doctor and he was told he has 20 percent hearing loss and to wear headphones so he could hear the music and watch tv without bothering anyone. So far it's saved my sanity. Nothing is blasting in this house.

But I want to get that strobe light thing.

Thanks much

Melody
I think you have digital phone service if it is touchtone--analog is rotary dial. But I think they probably make one that works with digital--lots of deaf and near deaf people in the US. Do a google search. Then when you have the name, check on Ebay for bargain price
