Heart Your SCS Implant

Hi Mandy,

I'm just getting around to reading your first post this evening, my SCS hasn't exacltly turned out as expected either and my consultant wants to replace it with a different one, the more research I do on this new device it think it it for the best.
I'm not doing very well at the moment, i'm in terrible pain and GP who I spoke to last week reckons my sacroilliac joint is inflammed, hence I can't walk and I can't do anything (even trying to pee is difficult)
Anyway I just wonder if you've done anything about your problems, have you gone back to your consultant? What ever you do, don't ignore it, do let them know you aren't happy. Don't expect bad health or a faulty device, please God it won't be a difficult problem to fix

I wish you the very best of luck, You're very welcome to our support forum and there is a whole lot of support here and we're all friends here and the more the merrier.

Take care

Sinéad
