I was on gabapentin successfully for quite a while, then pdoc increased it to twice a day to give me better mornings & my speech was affected. Couldn't get words out--felt as though my mouth was twisted & hard to open.
Lowering the dose didn't get results so I'm on topiramate now. Works fine .
