I'm still learning, just had a tooth removed and am having atypical upper teeth pain.
what i've read is avoid root canals, it is a dead tooth with no blood supply and the bacteria can hide in there. Antibiotics can't get to it. Also if one of your symptoms is chemical sensitivities that can affect what materials can be used in your mouth.
I would highly recommend getting a biological dentist, even better if they're lyme-literate.
If you go on lymenet and search in the medical section there are many with lyme dealing with teeth issues.
