The nose is the royal road to the brain...things inhaled cross into the brain via the olfactory bulb. Normally viruses do not cross the blood brain barrier. Just be careful what you inhale, therefore.
People considering getting any vaccine, including the flu one yearly should really do some homework as to whether the vaccine "works" and is safe for them. Vaccines today can be problematic and/or useless.
This link to a recent discussion has some interesting data on it:

Dr. Blaylock MD is very informed, and reads many studies and journals.
The link to the Merck interview is very disturbing... so if you are easily upset, you might not want to watch it.
We tend to only hear the positive "hype" and not receive any information out there about the "other side of the coin" in order to make an informed decision.
The last link on that post, is a recording of the head of Merck's vaccine program, describing the common contamination of vaccines he worked on and also the polio vaccine (which I received in the 50's)
The vaccines used on cats, have shown to cause vaccination sarcoma (cancer) and autoimmune disease which destroys the kidneys (distemper). At least for pets now, there are adjuvant free vaccines now being made... called PureVax. But none for humans yet! It is the adjuvants that cause the troubles, or in the case of Merck-- actual contaminants. It has come to light that the AIDs epidemic stems from Merck's experimental vaccine in the late 70's for Hep B, which was contaminated.
