Early Alzheimer's Disease from head trauma
Hi, everybody:
On August 25, 2001, I was a pedestrian struck and injured by a car while crossing the street on a crosswalk. The car's front bumper hit my left knee; I rolled on the car's hood; I hit the car's windshield, which was pushed in in the shape of my head; I was thrown 40 feet; and I landed on the street.
I do not remember what happened between the time the car was right next to me before stricking me and the time I found myself lying on the stret in a pool of blood.
I have very, very bad memory and concentration problems.
Could all this lead to early Alzheimer's Disease? This is what I read in some books and web sites, but I do not know if this information is reliable.
Thanks for your information.
