I'm definetly learning from my mistakes. I always seem to think i am doing so much better and push the envelope and realize after the fact the what i did was making me feel worse.

When i went to watch football a few weeks ago, i didnt think there would be so many tvs right in front of me....i pictured there would be one tv i would focus on. I know now that the sportsbar i went to is not conducive to my needs. This week my game was on national tv, so i stayed in my pajamas and watched it at home on the couch.

I also would get the ok from doctors about my trips, but with the disclaimer that if its too much, i need to rest...which i did every day. Needless to say....i will not be going to Las Vegas or Disneyworld again for many many years!!

You will be happy to hear that i am home resting from now on, not going out to restaurants that are noisy or crowded or have too much stimulation, no more trips, and focusing on physical as well as cognitive rest. I am listening to my body. This past week, i have had less headaches, and it seems my resting is helping. So i will just keep on resting and not push myself anymore. Thanks for the tips!!

Began Healing in November 2011 after starting acupuncture and Healing Touch (a nurturing energy therapy that promotes relaxation and pain relief). I went back to work in February 2012. Ive been symptom free since July 2012. Very happy, positive, energetic and working out every day, doing yoga, and living a normal life again!
I also began taking Healing Touch classes in November 2011 and completed 5 Levels of Healing Touch Certificate Program that included a 1 year mentorship to become a Healing Touch International Practitioner in June 2013. I am so pleased to offer this wonderful healing therapy to my patients, friends, and clients.
