Default Private Practice

So is it just me getting a little jaded or has Medtronic taken product placement to a whole new level? The latest episode ("Deal with It") of Private Practice has a doctor blithely suggesting DBS as a simple solution to infidelity caused by PD meds in a 40-year-old female who exhibits bilateral hand tremors as her only symptom. Kudos to the show for attempting to convey the fact that there are no easy answers when it comes to personality and illness. Can't really blame them for sensationalizing things a bit with the sexual side-effects of agonists, I guess, but wouldn't it be nice if the show's website had links to PD organizations and if someone, anyone, commented on PD in the comments. Who knows, maybe Kate Walsh could take a moment to educate folks out of hyping her perfume on the weekly vlog or live chat? Ironic that it doesn't smell good -- or bad -- to me, but I'd buy it anyway if she stepped up!
