I was just diagnoised with a 1 cm brain aneurysm. I got up one morning and was dizzy,Severe headache,nausea,numbness and tinglinging in right side of my face and pressure behind right eye and had severe neck pain and stiffness. Long story, short, I have consulted with specialist at UVa. Medical and am about to have a "Coiling" IF the opening to the aneurysm is large enough..Have been told it is VERY narrow and the Angiogram will tell them if or if not. If not, then I will be having a "Clip" placed! Brain Surgery...My concerns are,,,,the specialist tell me that it is unlikely that my symptoms are NOT related to the large aneurysm that is possibly leaking...I went through and am still having issues that are "TEXT BOOK" symptoms to an aneurysm...So how can this be..My eye still has pressure behind it and my right side of my face feels like I have been to the dentist and have had novocaine and numbness in fingers...Has anyone experienced this or any info. would be much appreciated...
