"Find the cookie" can be a fun game in and of itself. If you wash your hands thoroughly (to remove any residual scent) and hide a biscuit in one hand, (without touching it with the other) your dog will be able to sniff it out. Many dogs (like ours) can sniff it out anyway from the strength of scent.

A game that works better with small* dogs is to hide a biscuit inside a disposable plastic container with snap-on lid. Once they get that, put the first container inside another of slightly larger size. Margarine & Cool Whip tubs work well.

*Small dogs will usually open the containers to get to the treat; large dogs tend to destroy the containers right off. Exceptions noted both ways.
