Chronic Pain
my older daughter is on Seroquel which seems to have helped her a lot.
apparently, there are some patients who have a kind of slight mood disorder/slight bi polar.
she had to work with the dosage a bit until it was just right but she says that it has helped with the pain.
I am on many different meds. I have had it for over 20 years.
I think that garbapentin helps if your are young and have not had this syndrome for too long. My younger daughter is on that and she is doing ok. but she is young and not as symptomatic yet.
As far as your family doctor goes, Rheumatologists are the ones who traditionally diagnosis and treat fibromyalgia. You might want to look for one since they are the ones who keep up with it.
I hope this help you.
good luck to you and hang in there.
