My cat belonged to my son who had no time for him. I would go over and he would run up to me begging for attention, love, anything to stop the boredom of being alone. He adoped me and I asked to bring him home. I didn't know if he would bond with me, but he did, and now I have a big strong healthy cat instead of the kitten I thought I wanted. I did the right thing in bringing this lonely cat home, and he knows it. He eased me out of the grief I felt after loosing my scruffy of 21 years.
