I would definitely get more testing of all kinds, just to be sure it isn't something else that is being missed.
Many other conditions to rule in & out with blood testing, MRIs & a detailed history.
Might help to make up a time line or journal of all symptoms so if you go to another dr for opinion/consult it is easy for them to see the progression.
These are helpful in cases of rare conditions.

What were you originally having the acupuncture for?
