Yes, there is a difference between alpha lipoic, r-lipoic and r-lipoic stabilized.
We discuss all 3. The regular alpha is the least bioavailable and requires high dosing to accomplish what the newer r-lipoic types do.
Alpha lipoic has been around for a decade... it typically needs about 600mg a day to work...1/2 of it is inactive. R-lipoic is only the active version.
