Hi dmom, I am using a credit card. I am on medicare/medicaid. The health dept. with dozens waiting was my only other choice. They don't treat, or fix, they just pull teeth and out the door you go. I could not go that direction. I wanted the right kind of dr. in case I develope infection. My immune system is faulty and just going to the health dept. is full of risk. so I put it on credit card. I didn't know what else to do. there is nothing for people who are poor who need help. I called dozens of drs. nobody helps the poor. I had no health insurance when I fell apart. It took my life savings, and that of my parents for me. I had a pre-existing condition and could never GET insurance to begin with. There are some things that just stink, and this is one of them. Health cost all I worked for my whole life. life isn't fair is it? Hope you get insurance soon, so you can go to the dentist. ginnie
