You can delete or edit a post for 24 hours from when you first posted. I
think you have 20 minutes to edit before the edit line shows. Sorry, I cannot find confirmation of that, but I think that 20 minutes is correct. After that time has lapsed you would need to contact a moderator to do it for you.
