Gabapentin (Neurontin) and pregabalin (Lyrica) are NOT the same ingredients. Lyrica was designed as a more potent successor to gabapentin. Check out the chemical compositions:

Gabapentin and Neurontin are the same, and
Pregabalin and Lyrica are the same,
